Haliburton School of the ArtsCeramic Certificate Course Handbuilding with Michael Sheba Course outline: The focus of the hand-building course is to assist students in developing their skills required to make pottery using hand-building methods. Michael taught us handbuilding and showed us Raku firing. It was a lot of fun and we all made beautiful tiles, pinchpots and non-functional teapots. the weather was perfect and we were lucky the Raku kilns at the old campus were still available for us to use. |
